Santal Gris is an intimate ambergris and sandalwood fragrance that wears close to the skin. It opens with a soft, golden amber that immediately surrounds the mineral, slightly animalic character of ambergris.
As it develops, Mysore sandalwood brings a smooth, creamy woodiness, blending seamlessly with the musky, saline warmth of ambergris. The composition feels natural and skin-like—warm, slightly salty, and quietly alive.
The result is a true skin scent, where amber, wood, and ambergris merge into something soft and personal. It’s not loud or projecting, but intimate—more like the scent of warm skin touched by salt and air.
A Note from the Perfumer:
Ambergris is often described in extremes—animalic, sensual, even mythical. For me, it’s simpler. It smells alive: musky, saline, and human. When blended with amber and Mysore sandalwood, it becomes something familiar—like clean, warm skin with a trace of salt and warmth. The way it wears will change from person to person, shaped by skin, memory, and perception.
